Gold prices today, November 7, 2026, plummeted dramatically, putting pressure on the entire market and causing a reversal. The World Bank confirmed that the upward momentum is gradually fading from this point onwards.

Gold prices today, November 7, 2026, quickly reversed course and fell sharply across the board. The precious metals market continues to face pressure, causing world gold prices to plummet to near the $4,500 mark. Domestic gold prices have also continuously "evaporated" sharply, falling by 1.9 million to 2.4 million VND per ounce.
Under strong selling pressure throughout the day as businesses simultaneously lowered prices, the common selling price of SJC gold bars fell back to around 141 million VND per tael.
Meanwhile, the prices of plain gold rings and gold jewelry have plummeted across all domestic brands.
Domestic gold prices increased less but fell more sharply than global prices, causing the price difference between the two markets to narrow rapidly.
Thus, the highest buying price for plain gold rings is 136.7 million VND/ounce at DOJI and Bao Tin Manh Hai, while the lowest is 136.3 million VND/ounce at PNJ, a difference of 400,000 VND/ounce.
On the international market, gold prices have risen by more than 4% in the last two trading sessions.
The spot price of gold briefly surpassed $4,100 per ounce before reversing and falling, at one point dropping below $4,050 per ounce.
Before its rapid surge, gold prices briefly reached their highest level in over two weeks, supported by a weakening US dollar and rising US Treasury yields.
Based on the USD exchange rate of Vietcombank (25,780 VND), the current world gold price is equivalent to 125.7 million VND/ounce, which is 15.3 million VND/ounce lower than the domestic gold price.
